At the park I see trees,playground, and heaps of chairs.I also see people having picnic walking and exercise.

At the park I hear people having fun and people scream at people because the have anger problems.I also hear people saying things that kids should not hear.

At the park I feel happy and sad. The reason why I am happy is because I am there with my family and friends.Also get to play with them.The reason why I feel bad is because I am not allowed to play because I have done bad things to my cousins and friends.

At the park there is heaps of people that I don't know.At the park my family and friends are there.Sometimes at the park there a new playground things to play with.

At school

RAIN DROP

The raindrop fell on my face and I started crying because it was so big.When it fell on my face I cried. I went to the bathroom and washed my face. When I went to wash my face I didn’t want to splash my face hard because it will hurt more.

After I finished washing my face I went to go and eat because I slept for are long time. The thing I went to eat was some fruit and and some meat,It was so nice. I just finished eating then put it in the sink then started washing it so i won't get into more trouble.

When I finished cleaning I went outside to go for are walk. I walked down the street I saw are cool flash car's with loud music and I was going fast until they saw me walking by myself. They came and said that if i wanted to go for a ride,I said no because he was a stranger.I don’t go into cars with stranger.

They told me to get in the car otherwise they will kill me so I went in the car but my parents did not even know.Luckily my parents had installed a tracking device in my ear so that when I am lost she can find me.

They came to find me and I was in this strange house it had no window, no nothing just are light and are door.My parents came and smashed the door open knocked out the kidnapper then cut the ropes.They took me back home and swear to my parents not to walk alone ever again.

Snow white

Once upon a time there was a princess whose name was Snow White and she lived in a big castle.One night before going to her bed, her parents told her to read some books because her reading was not at the National Standard.

When her parents left her room, she was so angry she threw her books away and cried herself to sleep.

In the morning she went to eat, when she finished eating she left her dishes in the sink and went into her room. When she was in her room her father yelled to her to go and wash her dishes.

When Snow White heard that she had to wash her dishes she got really mad and ran out the castle and ran far far away.

She found herself in the forest and came across a cottage.

When she went inside the cottage she started to make some soup and then fell asleep.

The owners of the house, the seven dwarfs came home and found a delicious soup. They all sat down and started to eat. Then they noticed a strange girl sleeping in their house.

When Snow White woke up she told the dwarfs she was a princess and she has run away from home to find happiness.

However, the evil witch hated Snow White and wanted her dead because she wanted to be the princess. She looked in her mirror and saw Snow White in a garden. While Snow White was in the garden the evil Witch came as a nice old lady and gave her a banana. Feeling hungry Snow White went back into the house and ate the banana and fainted.

When the dwarfs came home and found Snow White lying there they all thought she was dead. They all fell next to her bed and cried and cried.

A superhero Captain Levi heard that Snow White had been poisoned and came to rescue her. When he entered the house he found Snow White lying there and the dwarfs by her bedside in prayer.

As the Captain Levi walked towards Snow White the evil Witch stormed into the house but Captain Levi waved his magic hand and she fell to the ground.

Captain Levi gave Snow White some magic medicine and she slowly woke up to find the 7 dwarfs smiling happily and Captain Levi standing there with pride.

SunSmart

Hi my name is taki and will be explaining to you about sun smart.

First thing we need to do is get our sunhat.We need slap it on to our head so you won't get sunburned. Second reason is so that you won’t get cancer and so your skin won't come of and affect your skin, also so we won’t get marks on your body.  

Second of all we need some sunscreen.First reason we need to have sunscreen is so the sun doesn't make our skin go dark.  Another reason is that when you don’t have sunscreen, your skin will go red then your skin gets really sore.

Last of all is cancer.Fist reason of have cancer is that when you have it stays in in your body for are long time.Second reason is that it makes your skin really ugly and also makes your hand get cut of.Third reason is that there is one really bad cancer and it is called melanoma and that is the worst cancer you want to have.

WATCHING T.V

Today I woke up and watched t.v with my brother and my cousin.When we were watching t.v my brother went and made some pies for us to eat and we had to pies each.After we had our pies I got my placket because it was so cold then we watched are cartoon called regular show. This episode we watched was when mordecai and rigby got stuck in are port er loo so then muscle man came and ordered are new no.When he order the new one the people said that they were going to the military for there gun testings and that was the end of the episode.

Tuesday 7th October - Swimming

Today I woke up around 1 or 2 in the morning and watched t.v. When I was watching t.v my dad told me to go to sleep because, it was too early so, I went to sleep. Then I woke up and saw that my brother gone from the living room ( where we slept) and was in our room playing on the PlayStation 2. The game he was playing was Iron Man, and I got a turn to play too. Later on our dad said if we wanted to go to the pools for fun because we had nothing to do today, so we went to the swimming pools. Last of all when we were at the pools my brother and I were playing in the warm pool and my dad was in the spa pool.

Sunday 4 Oct - Busy Day Today :)

Today my brother, cousin, and I were at my grandpa's house, my auntie and uncle were staying with him. Then my uncle went with his sons to his work to help him with extra work to do. The extra work they had to do was go and breakdown a house and re build another house there. When I was at my grandpa's, we were watching movies and cartoons until my mum and dad came, so when they came we went to the hospital to go see my nana because she was sick. Last of all we had to go back home because the hospital was full,then we played playstation games at home. The game we played was Iron Man. It was really fun to play with my brother and cousin.

Tuesday 30th September - Cleaning Day 2

Today we have been cleaning again, just like yesterday. But today we have been cleaning our Hallway. Now our Hallway, Kitchen, Toilet and bathroom are clean, from all the dirt. After today we are going to be cleaning our living room and also our rooms, because it is a MESS! When we have finished we are going to have a nice beautiful relaxing time, and OUR house is going to be CLEAN and Spotless.

CLEANING

Today my Dad, brother and I have been washing our house to make it look nice and clean.First thing we done was to go to pak'n'save to buy our cleaning utensils to wash our house. Second thing we done was head back home and clean our walls. Before we cleaned the walls we had to get some water and put it in a bucket, then put some soap into it. Last of all, when we finished washing the walls, we cleaned the ground and then our house looked spic and span.

If I was a sports commentator at the Commonwealth Games...

In the Commonwealth games I would be a commentator because I would get to talk about people. What I would talk about is how they are doing at their sport.

Next I would like to talk about the weight lifting because they would be lifting weights and I will be like, “ohh!! HE IS GOING TO lift it hes going...”. Oh wait a minute ... it falls and I would be laughing hard out.

Then I would be talking about swimming because they will be be doing swimming style that I have never seen and I would be saying NZ is always winning. NZ people are always winning because they are always the best in the world except for Usain Bolt.

 Usain Bolt comes from Jamaica. He is fast so when he runs I would be like “Go Usain Bolt” and he will win all his running games. Running games will be cool to come because the first person will be coming first then the last person will catch up to him and he will come first.

Volcano

Hi my name is Taki and I will telling you about how volcanoes explodes.

Earth has three layers, the first layer is called the  core which is shaped like a ball.The ball is so big and this is how hot it is 5430c.The second layer which is mantle is made out from hot,soft rocks.The mantle also contains pockets of  liquid rock and gases called magma.The magma can come to the top of the crust when it is soft.The top layer is the coldest,rocky crust,which supports homes on earth.When the magma finds are weak spot in the crust it come straight  into the earth.

The elections this year 2014 is going to be in September.It is going to be on Saturday the 20.In New Zealand there is heaps of parties like Labour, national, Mana,Internet,  .The leader of the national is John Key and the leader for Labour is David Cunliffe.To me the elections is were people vote. If I was aloud to vote I would vote for the Labour party because they help the people.

Hello My name is Taki and will be telling you about my day today so far.

Today when I went to school there was something going on.When I got there, there were heaps of sausages.After I had my sausages I had some drinks and I had apple juice and it was so nice.

When I came back from the toilet Hana was doing a Samoan dance and Mr Nath gave her some money for dancing. After she was dancing, the boys came and did their Tongan dance.

Next when we finished we had to go in to the class because the bell rang.When the bell rang Miss Elia asked us to come down to the hall sensibly because the Mayor was at school.

When we got in the hall there was this lady that called the mayor and his crew into the hall.In the hall the Mayor Len brown was talking to us kids and it was funny because we copied what he said.

When Len Brown finished talking we started to sing songs and we sang E Tasi Ae Lasi.When we finished E Tasi Ae lasi we sang all the other songs and it was cool because I sang very loudly.

Last of all, we all went outside to go and see the sod turning and it was cool.When they did the sod turning we sang Te Aroha and when we finished sod turning we went and meet Len Brown then it was time to class.

Holidays

In the holidays I went to my cousins house to play games and so my dad can go to this rugby game and it was at marist rugby club.

When we finished from the park my dad came back from the rugby and picked us up so we can go home and when we got home we went and fell asleep.

SEA STARS

Today I have learnt that sea stars don't use blood to flow throughout there bodies they use sea water to go through there bodies.Also I learnt that sea stars have bony skin so that when predators come and try to harm them they wont hurt.In the world there are over 2,000 species of sea stars living in all the world's.

Now I will tell you how to play the game sea star maths now first one person has to write the total of the number then the other person has to come and try to make numbers that add up to the number that the other person wrote.

Endangered whales

Why are whales endangered?

Whales are endangered because of oil spills from ships.These oil spills are polluting the sea so whales are dying.Oil spills can affect the food chain.When whales eat oil-infected animals in the sea it can affect them because oil can injure the eyes and lungs.

Whales are also endangered because whalers are using their fishing nets to catch them.Using fishing nets catches a large number of whales.Whalers also use drift nets which catch whatever swims into them,including whales.These whales get tangled up in the nets and drown.

Ships often go very fast and can accidently ram into whales.Whales hit by these ships can be seriously injured,losing parts of their tails to propeller blade or dyes.

Kahawi

In the this story I read was Kahawi. First there was an old lady and her mokopuna that went fishing and there was and sign that said danger because it was polluted water.When they went to go fishing there were heaps of broken stuff and there was a city that was broken and even the Sky Tower was broken too. Then when they finished looking around they started to fish.Soon when they put their little net down then they got a fish that was called Kahawi. Last of all the old lady that was with her mokopuna  put the fish back into the water.

This story is trying to tell us not to pollute the water and so that we get staff to drink and not to cuck rubbish into the water.

loopy people

Today we had to measure our self  so we can make our loopy people for maths.

First every one in the class had to get into pairs and we had to get a measuring tape so we can measure ourselves.

Next we had to write down our measurements in our books. Because we wanted to save paper we had to half our measurements so we make smaller loopy people.

After we had to get some paper and measure our  half measurements on the paper and cut it out. After we cut our measurements out we had to decorate our loopy people.

The final part is putting our loopy people together and then displaying it on our wall.

Long Bay Survival Trip

First thing we did there was have morning tea because it was morning tea. After we had morning tea we had to get into groups. Our group went for a hike and we went to the native trail. It was not so long and when we got back we had to talk about some trees with the teacher Shan.

Then we all had to swap teachers so we can do the next thing.The next thing we did was pitching the tent and we had some help from Dora’s dad but we finished second. After we could go inside the tent then we had to pack the tent up and put it back in the bag because Sarah told us to.Then we cooked some sausages and it was nice to eat the with the bread and tomato sauce.

After that we had to swap teachers because we had to learn the next thing and the next thing we did was relays but we had to get the list so we know what we had to go and get, then when we are finished Magritte will tell us if we got the right or wrong stuff then when that was finished we had to get two long sticks and make a stretcher so someone can lie on it.

Last of all we had to sit down and listen to Sarah, Magritte and Shan then we all had to line up so we can go back to the bus and off to school.

A narrative I wrote.

The dry ground crunched under Jesse’s foot. He glanced to the left as he was walking home.

Then when his mum came out she saw the ground cracking so she ran into the house because she might fall into one of the cracks.

When dad was coming from the town, the road was cracking then all the towers fell into the crack when Superman, Hulk, Captain America , Ironman,  Spiderman, Batman, Green lantern came to save the city.

Last of all when they came they fixed all of the cracks then they all disappeared straight away because they had a different city to save.

Softball lesson

First thing this morning we went to our own fantastic softball lesson with our teacher and we had to line up outside our classroom.We were so happy to go to our own softball lesson with our Teacher.

Then Mrs Tofa got us in to our own 2 softball groups. We were excited to get our gloves and to use the bat.

Our group started with fielding and we got the other team out by catching the ball when they hit it.

Later it was our turn to have a go at batting the ball and it was so fantastic. I was so happy and we were cheering for our team then "bang" when Mafoa hit the ball.When the ball was coming he smashed it away. We felt safe on the chair because the ball could not hit us.

Last of all Mrs Tofa said  to came and sit on the ground because there were some things we had to discuss about our lesson. Then we talked about how to hit the ball and identify where the bases are because some people did not know the bases were.
