Sciences with with Mrs Tofa

On Tuesday we were with Mrs Tofa and we were doing sciences the whole day. It was fun with Mrs Tofa. I liked the Science day.

When she finished, we had apples and she told use to put it into all the cups. The cups had sprite, L & P, vinegar. It was not cool because we had to stare at the apples till one of them turned brown. The first one to turn brown was the apple in vinegar and water. L & P and sprite were the ones that didn't turn brown. There are more chemical in vinegar so thats why it turned brown.

It was fun in the morning because we were watching Mrs Tofa talk about what science is about. She was talking about what will happen when baking powder and vinegar are mixed together. She put it in and the water started to fizz up and then it almost over flowed.


After that, it was morning tea. After morning tea, it was time to make our scones. It was cool because we were allowed to get into our own groups and then we it was time to go to Mrs Tofa and she will tell us what were meant to do.

Last of all it was time to take our Scones to the hall kitchen. When we took it to the hall kitchen we baked then for about 20 or 30 minutes till it came out. When it came out it tasted so great.

Maths

Heres my maths problem. Sarah backed  350 cakes in 7.5 hours. How many cakes can she bake in 15 hours? 700 because 7.5 + 7.5 = 15 so I did 350 + 350 = 700

Wood work

Today in wood tech Mr Grundy told us that we were going to choose one out 10 pictures that we drawed and thats the one were going to draw with the wood.

When we were in class I was hard to pick because there was alot of pictures that I was drawing. it came to that time when I had picked one of the drawing and it was a car. It was so hard to draw the lines with the wood.

Next after that Mr Grundy told use to stand in a circle because people were taping on the table so he told the person that was taping on the table to go and sit out side. When the person was out side there more people that was going to sit out side because they were not being good.

Last of all it came to the end of our lesson because Mr Grundy was angry at people because they were just play around and doing there work. He told use to go line up out side because it was time to go back to school.

Maori Myths

One day there was one little dinosaur and his name was Taki. He was a T-Rex and had a big mouth.Also sharp teeth, sharp claws and he was about 4ft high.

Once he turned 5 years old his mom enrolled him into one of the highest primary schools ever. His mum was so excited for Taki to go to school so they got in the car and went to school. When Taki got to school there were some kids that were kind enough to let Taki play with them.

When the bell rang for morning tea he went to go and eat heaps of meat that his mother put in his backpack. When he finished eating all the meat he went to play on the field where there was no one there.

After when he finished running around there was a bully and his name was Ilalio. He came and bullied him and then that's when Taki felt sad and ran Away.

When he ran away He was never ever to be found. He found A nice place for him to stay and he named the place G.I. This place was filled with big places.

Last of all he invited other Dinosaurs into his place he found and thats when Dinosaurs started moving into G.I. He let them come to his place because he was lonely.  Taki felt more safer than ever.

MADD workshop

Today was the last madd workshop. It was sad to be the last madd workshop because we have learnt a lot of things. It was really sad to see him leave from our school.

The first thing we had to do was take the chairs and put them in lines so that he can teach use. When we finished doing the chairs he told use to sit down so that we can get ready.

After that was finished he told us that he was going to give use this kind of ring. When he gave us the rings he asked us what was the first thing we were talking about when he first came and we all said the first thing was our culture. It was going till the last lesson.

He gave use the cards to put on to our ring so that we can not lose the cards that he gave use. The cards were different colors to represent the things we have been learning.

Last of all he said that it was time to let him draw. While he was drawing he was playing songs and I remember one of the songs and it was called happy and it was a cool song. At the end of the season the superhero he drawed was iron man. He drawed him because He has a lot of creations.

QUEENS BIRTHDAY

I woke up to a happy morning and the sky was nice and clear.It was Queens Birthday so I stayed in bed. I woke up and played on the laptop. It was so cool because I was the only one that was awake that time.

When I was playing games my cousin scared me because I never know that he was awake. He scared me real bad I shaked. When he was awake we played games until my auntie woke up and told us what we were doing.

Once my auntie woke up she said that my mum called and said that we were going to the beach and that we needed to get our clothes ready too. After we got ready we went to the kitchen so we can go and have something to eat. The food that I went to go and eat was toast with butter.

When my mum arrived we got into the car and went off to the beach and there was a park next to it so we were playing on the park and it was fun.

Next when we finished playing at the park we got hot so we decided that we were going to swim now so that we could cool down. In the water we were playing rugby with the rugby ball and it was hard to run in the water.

Last of all we went back home and we got some rest then my mum, brother and I went back and my brother had to sleep for school while i stayed up watching T.v.

MATHS REFLECTION

Today we had another maths session with Mrs Raj. It was good because I solved the question and heres the question. There are 240 students in a school, 1/3 of them travel to school by bus, 1/10 of them bike downed to school and the rest of them travel to school by car . It was good to work with Mrs Raj.
