Kiwican

Today we had another Kiwi can lesson. This lesson we had the same teacher as last week and His name was Mr Afutoto. He taught us what resilience means. Resilience means to try your best and Never give up. he also taught us about goal setting. He said that there is long term goals and sort term goals. Short term goals is the little goal that you will complete to become better at your long term goal. Long term goal is your goal when you a finished school. He also taught us that we need to plan out our goals and make shore you stick with that one goal for you whole life.  

Volleyball

Today we had another session with Tony for volleyball. Today's lesson was about doing the right passing drill. We worked on our servings. We had to catch the ball every your partner serves the ball to you. The other challenge is when your partner serves the ball you have to try and make it get throw your legs. It was so much fun.

The last thing we did was a game. We got split into 6 team. The team I was in was group 3. This group was a little weird because their were 3 girls and 1 boy. I was the only boy. But I was a very Powerful boy. When the ball came to me I hit the ball very high. This was a cool experiments because There were girls all around me.

Today we had Kiwi can. Kiwi can was different because Miss Tuia and Mr Nomia were not here because of personal reasons. So we had another teacher and his name was Afutoto. He was a cool teacher. He taught us all about goal setting. He told us to practice our goals. Our topic this term is resilience and our topic was goal setting for the next 3 weeks. It was a great day.

Volleyball

Today we had a session with a lady named Antonia. She was teaching us how to play volleyball. The first skill she taught us was how to hit the ball. She said you have to put your left over your right hand. The next skill she taught us was the set. You have to make a circle and hit the ball like that. It was fun because me and my friend Moses went for a long time. Last skill Toni taught us was how to spike. Now spiking was kinda cool because we got to smash the ball. Toni said that we had to take 1 small step and then 1 big step. Ten you have to jump up and spike the ball.

Last of all we played a volleyball game. Tony split the class in to 4 groups. The group that I was in was group 3. Our group was good because our team knew what we were doing. The first team we versed was team 4. I don't know who won in that game. The next team we versed was team 2. I had to join team 2 because one of their players didn't want to play. When I joined their team their team started to play properly. Toni said that we need to work on our listening skills. We also needed to work on getting to the teacher on time.

Today there has been a very sad incident that had happen. A 70 year old lady has died while she was crossing the road. When she was crossing the road a car had hit her.
