POWHIRI
Hello My name is Taki and will be telling you about my day today so far.
Today when I went to school there was something going on.When I got there, there were heaps of sausages. After I had my sausages I had some drinks and I had apple juice and it was so nice.
When I came back from the toilet Hana was doing a Samoan dance and Mr Nath gave her some money for dancing. After she was dancing, the boys came and did their Tongan dance.
Next when we finished we had to go in to the class because the bell rang. When the bell rang Miss Elia asked us to come down to the hall sensibly because the Mayor was at school.
When we got in the hall there was this lady that called the mayor and his crew into the hall.In the hall the Mayor Len brown was talking to us kids and it was funny because we copied what he said.
When Len Brown finished talking we started to sing songs and we sang E Tasi Ae Lasi. When we finished E Tasi Ae lasi we sang all the other songs and it was cool because I sang very loudly.
Last of all, we all went outside to go and see the sod turning and it was cool. When they did the sod turning we sang Te Aroha and when we finished sod turning we went and meet Len Brown then it was time to class.
`THE END
