Tuesday 30th September - Cleaning Day 2

Today we have been cleaning again, just like yesterday. But today we have been cleaning our Hallway. Now our Hallway, Kitchen, Toilet and bathroom are clean, from all the dirt. After today we are going to be cleaning our living room and also our rooms, because it is a MESS! When we have finished we are going to have a nice beautiful relaxing time, and OUR house is going to be CLEAN and Spotless.

CLEANING

Today my Dad, brother and I have been washing our house to make it look nice and clean.First thing we done was to go to pak'n'save to buy our cleaning utensils to wash our house. Second thing we done was head back home and clean our walls. Before we cleaned the walls we had to get some water and put it in a bucket, then put some soap into it. Last of all, when we finished washing the walls, we cleaned the ground and then our house looked spic and span.

If I was a sports commentator at the Commonwealth Games...

In the Commonwealth games I would be a commentator because I would get to talk about people. What I would talk about is how they are doing at their sport.

Next I would like to talk about the weight lifting because they would be lifting weights and I will be like, “ohh!! HE IS GOING TO lift it hes going...”. Oh wait a minute ... it falls and I would be laughing hard out.

Then I would be talking about swimming because they will be be doing swimming style that I have never seen and I would be saying NZ is always winning. NZ people are always winning because they are always the best in the world except for Usain Bolt.

 Usain Bolt comes from Jamaica. He is fast so when he runs I would be like “Go Usain Bolt” and he will win all his running games. Running games will be cool to come because the first person will be coming first then the last person will catch up to him and he will come first.

Volcano

Hi my name is Taki and I will telling you about how volcanoes explodes.

Earth has three layers, the first layer is called the  core which is shaped like a ball.The ball is so big and this is how hot it is 5430c.The second layer which is mantle is made out from hot,soft rocks.The mantle also contains pockets of  liquid rock and gases called magma.The magma can come to the top of the crust when it is soft.The top layer is the coldest,rocky crust,which supports homes on earth.When the magma finds are weak spot in the crust it come straight  into the earth.

ELECTIONS

The elections this year 2014 is going to be in September.It is going to be on Saturday the 20.In New Zealand there is heaps of parties like Labour, national, Mana,Internet,  .The leader of the national is John Key and the leader for Labour is David Cunliffe.To me the elections is were people vote. If I was aloud to vote I would vote for the Labour party because they help the people.

POWHIRI

Hello My name is Taki and will be telling you about my day today so far.

Today when I went to school there was something going on.When I got there, there were heaps of sausages.After I had my sausages I had some drinks and I had apple juice and it was so nice.

When I came back from the toilet Hana was doing a Samoan dance and Mr Nath gave her some money for dancing. After she was dancing, the boys came and did their Tongan dance.

Next when we finished we had to go in to the class because the bell rang.When the bell rang Miss Elia asked us to come down to the hall sensibly because the Mayor was at school.

When we got in the hall there was this lady that called the mayor and his crew into the hall.In the hall the Mayor Len brown was talking to us kids and it was funny because we copied what he said.

When Len Brown finished talking we started to sing songs and we sang E Tasi Ae Lasi.When we finished E Tasi Ae lasi we sang all the other songs and it was cool because I sang very loudly.

Last of all, we all went outside to go and see the sod turning and it was cool.When they did the sod turning we sang Te Aroha and when we finished sod turning we went and meet Len Brown then it was time to class.

COMMONWEALTH 2014

The Commonwealth games is held every 4 years and this year it was held in Scotland and in Scotland it was in Glasgow.The next Commonwealth games is in Australia in 2018.The difference between Commonwealth games and Olympics is that Commonwealth games is only under British colonisation and Olympics is when every country participate.
