Science

Today we did an science experiment with our teacher Miss Stone. Miss Stone gave us a little jar and a balloon and we had to cut the balloon so it can cover the jar. After that we put sugar on top and we had to hum and see if the sugar will move.

But it was still not confirm that the air or sound moved the sugar.

Today had probably been one of the most amazing day for me because we came first out of all of Auckland.It was a really good game because the other team were trying there best to stay in the game.

I liked this day because I got picked to go to the Auckland reps trials. This is the best opportunity I will be getting in a long time. This has been an really fun day.

Term 2

Term 2 had been and awesome and wonderful term for me and my class. We have been learning alot in all our subjects.

During term 2 we had a group called kiwi can come to your school every Thursday to teach us about what being a leader of the school is. They have also been teaching is to respect teachers and people that you talk to or know. The thing I liked that they teached  us was fair play. Fair play means you don't get angry if you lose a game and when you win a game you don't put people down. The thing I liked about Kiwi Can is that they teach you about your responsibility of being the leaders of the school.

This term had been a great time because we got to learn in maths, reading and writing. These are the subjects we do in out schools. To me I have been learning a lot in reading, writing and maths. Sometimes I would be so excited to take reading because reading my best subject.

Last of all I liked to play sports every morning. The sports always got me because they get you really pumped to run and got me really sweaty. I had sweat really hard.  This term was a lot of fun now term 3. I AM READY!!

Volcano Experiment

Today we did a volcano experiment.

In this experiment we used baking soda, Vinegar and dish washing liquid. It was cool because the volcano exploded but it came out as slow as a snail. We tried putting more  baking soda but it didn't make a different. Then we tried less Vinegar.

The reason why baking soda and vinegar react is because carbon dioxide molecule. The bubbles forth gas.

SHINE A LIGHT

Today after morning tea we had to go and watch a show that was called Shine A Light. This show was really interesting because they had told a lot of books that they were going to act out. There was one part that was fun. The fun part was when the mirror came to life. The mirror was the bad guy in the hole thing. He as saying bad things to people.

Yesterday we had a maths leasson. In our maths lesson we learnt about temperature. We had to solve some clues to show what the temperature of each city in New Zealand.

Poem Recital

Today we had to present your poem we made our self in front of the class. I was nervous because I have never done a poem about gangs. My poem was about gangs. The reason why I wrote about gangs is because gangs a bad. Gangs always kill people and take kids away from there family.

I am going to show you what I wrote:

Gangs make everything bad

No education, devastation, violence

Taking families and making them sad

sorry for your loss

Running after a man and his name was Chad

I look at a gang

Guns, colors, tattooed faces

All I hear is bang bang

Blood everywhere, fear, loss

I wish I had my iPad

Stop me thinking about all of this madness

Looking at all these things just bring sadness.

I walked down the road

Gang on the side

I had a big load on my mind

Thinking of why this happen

I saw an old lady, she was really kind.

The old lady was nevious

Then I saw a gang, we tried to keep our feet on the surface.
