Today we video a script  about our recount from our trip to Arataki. It was really cool because we learnt a lot of facts about the Arataki forest.

Best Holiday

This holiday was a lot of fun because I went to a family meeting. At the family meeting all my family was there. I got to meet up with all my aunts, uncles and cousins.The meeting was about our house in the island.

The meeting was cool because all the kids went outside to play rugby.The kids were` playing since 12.00 in the morning till 4.00 in the afternoon. While all the kids were playing rugby, all the adults were inside talking.

In the middle of our rugby game the adults called us inside to come and eat. All the kids rushed inside to eat because all the kids were really hungry.The food that was there were really nice,also there was a lot of ice cream. After all that eating all the kids went back outside to play some more games. The food was really nice. It made me feel really full.

When all the boys came out they said if we want to go to the beach and we said yes. So all the boys jumped in the car, then drove off to the beach. The beach we went to was Mission Bay. The beach was packed with people so we went to the wharf. All the boys started to jump off. It was the best time ever.

There was 1 little problem. And that was someone got cut in the leg and was crying. So we took him to the car and put a plaster on his foot. Then he stayed out of the water for the rest of the time. All the boys were mocking by jumping in the water in front of his face. My cousin was feeling really sad. To me I felt really sorry for him.

Last of all everyone went back to their houses and had a rest. It was a really long day for all of us adults and kids.

Chocolate maths

Yesterday we were left with six chocolate bars split between 13 children. How much chocolate would each child get. 6/13

Mrs Stone didn't feel like chocolate today. How much chocolate would each child receive if there a seven children. 7/13

There were suppose to be 14 children in our group, how chocolate would children receive if there were 7 chocolate bars. 7/14

Experiment

Today we a doing a experiment. The experiment is about us putting a potato in a box and leaving a little bit of light.The potato growing depends on the light. If there is not enough light the potato will not grow. Also the potato might not grow because there is no water.

I think the potato might not grow.

Maths problem

Tama and Sina planned to save $365 for a trip. They had 3 months to save for this trip. How much should they save each week? $121.6C

Tina came to school with 3 packets of biscuits. Each packet has 13 biscuits. How many people can Tina share her biscuits with? 39 people

Tom was 0.7 metres tall in 2012. He was 1.12 metres tall in 2015. How many metres did he grow between the years? 0.42 metres.

Lucy picked strawberries with her family during the summer. They get paid $7 for each kilogram of strawberries picked. How many kilograms do they need to pick if they want to earn $420?

Mrs Tofa went to dinner last night with her friends. It is is $26.90 per person at Genghis Khan. If there were four of them, how much did they pay together?$170.6

A trip to Remember (PART 1)

BOOOM! The door shuddered as a group of figures burst through, they had been waiting for 15 minutes now, with guns on their backs, occasionally shooting the things following them.  Running through corridors and into different movie screenings, the things stumbled and fumbled after them ‘Now, you may be wondering, Why’s this happening?, well here’s the start’

Anyways

Hi my name is Ben, My friend Tom and I have been on the run for years now. We are the Top criminals of America. We have been killing, kidnapping, robbing and we have been stealing foods because we are low on budget.

One early morning Tom and I were in the mood of stealing. So we did, We were low lifes who had no job, no house, no nothing just things we stole. We were best friends who grew up being a  “wanna be gangsters”. Yup we were wanna be gangsters. Our teachers were right after all. When I think back all we ever did in class was mucking around, talking, teasing the teachers, bullying. We regret so much right now. If we didn’t do all those negatives things we wouldn’t be where we are right now.

We will probably have jobs, money, houses, food, etc. Look at us were poor, begging, stealing doing all the things normal people won’t do. It’s really emotional to think back but that’s the past let’s just move forward and forget. (Well back to the story)

2 Months later

We came to a house that was really massive. We went to search  if anyone was inside. We went inside and found a movie screen and a lot of other rich stuff. We went to walk to the second floor and saw a man in the room eating. We asked him if he knew us and he said no. He told us if we wanted his house and we said yes and kicked him out of the house. We went to sleep and woke up to police outside the house wait for us to fight. Yes we had a fight, we got our gear and put straps of guns on us. We walk outside and started shooting them so they wont shot us back. We got away and Hijacked a car and drove off into the woods.We found an escape route which leads us to an beer shop. We went inside and got really drunk and then walk the rest of the way because if we drove we could've died along time ago.

We carried on our journey which took us 5 hours to get out of the woods. We walked around the corner and found ourselves trapped because there were police everywhere. We killed all of them with our shotgun. We escaped again.

East AUCKLAND

Glen Innes is a town in East Auckland. East Auckland is the BEST part of Auckland. GI is a really fun place but it is also a dangerous place because there is a lot of fighting and drug dealers. GI has got heaps of fun places to visit and It’s got heaps of beaches.

There is a place in GI that is called Te Oro and it is a really fun learning centre.Te Oro is the most common place because heaps of people go there to learn things like gaming skills. People also go there to learn dancing, Drumming and heaps of other stuff.

In GI there is a lot of music battles. People play music through their sirens. Some of the people in GI get angry because Siren gangs play their sirens at night. Men come out and ask the teenagers to go home.

Another thing about GI is that there is a lot of kids that get drunk. They make trouble with other schools in south auckland. It is really bad because kids are not meant to get drunk at a really young age. Kids also smoke weed in school.

The best thing about GI is that it has lot of cool beaches. It is cool because it is a really nice place to swim in. The beach is a delightful place you can jump off into the water. The water is nice and clean.
